Gym Essentials

Gymreapers Weight Lifting Grips
These have been a game-changer for me when I’ve had a bit of golfer’s elbow flare-up.
They let me keep training without compromising my grip, so I can still do pull-ups, Romanian deadlifts, and heavy pulls without my elbows being the limiting factor.
- Takes grip fatigue out when elbows are cranky
- Lets me train lats + posterior chain properly
- Supportive without feeling bulky
Nutrition Basics

Creatine Monohydrate
This is one of the best bang-for-your-buck supplements I use, and creatine monohydrate in powder form is my preference for both flexibility and value.
It’s fairly tasteless, mixes easily, and lets me adjust my intake based on training demand — I usually take 5 g (1 scoop) on most days, and up to 10 g (2 scoops) on heavier lifting days or when I’m running on less sleep thanks to kid life.
- Supports strength, power, and training performance
- Powder form is easy to dose, mix, and stay consistent with
- Clean, unflavoured, vegan-friendly formula with no fillers
Swim Essentials

Speedo Optical Vanquisher 2.0 Swim Goggles
I wore these throughout my Masters swim seasons and they consistently last me about a year with very frequent use, which honestly is solid for goggles at this price point.
They’re one of the most affordable entry-level prescription goggles that still feel streamlined enough for everyday practice — and even racing. The rubber does stretch out over time, but for the value, they’re hard to beat. I also love that they come with multiple nose pieces; I personally used the most narrow one for a better fit.
- Prescription lenses available for near-sighted swimmers (-1.0 to -8.0)
- Panoramic lenses with solid peripheral vision for pool awareness
- Cushioned silicone seals and interchangeable nose pieces for fit
- Great balance of comfort, visibility, and affordability
Home & Kids

Kids Stainless Steel Cups (with Silicone Sleeves)
We found these when we were ready to transition the kids’ serveware away from the IKEA plastic cups and plates, and they’ve been a staple ever since.
They’re the perfect size for little hands, the silicone sleeves make them easy to grip (and easy to tell whose cup is whose), and honestly — every single person who’s come over comments on them and asks where we got them.
- Lightweight, sturdy, and unbreakable — great for everyday kid use
- Silicone sleeves help with grip and colour-coding for siblings
- Easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and no worries about juice stains
